If fate sent you an email, would you answer?
When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O'Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds.
Then Graham finds out that Ellie's Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs?
MY THOUGHTSThis book is perfect okay. Need I say more? Okay I probably do, but it was amazing and cute and adorable. I read the Dutch translation that I picked up from the Library, which I discussed in one of my Book Translations posts. I really hated the cover and the title, but my mind just didn't want to do English so it was best to pick up a Dutch translation. And so pretty. And so cute. And ahdgjahsdgjkahdg.
Okay so I love Graham. I don't really like the name Graham, but I love the character in the book named Graham. He is a cute guy and a movie star, which makes him maybe double as cute. He stays try to himself and doesn't go all Justin Bieber because he has money and fame.
Ellie is cute. I can understand where she is coming from and I can't understand why she isn't a big fan of Graham Larkin though. She has no clue that they're talking to each other and I think this is the most cute. At first in the book I was like NO NO NO but then everything went well again and then I was again like NO NO NO and well. I think that's an accurate explanation of my feelings throughout this book. In other words: feels.
I love Jennifer E. Smith. I have enjoyed both The Statistical and The Geography and I really like this one as well. So Jennifer E. Smith better have more books coming out that I will devour and enjoy and love with all my heart, because this one was great. And adorable. It's a book you wanna read when you're feeling sad. It will make you happy again, believe me.
I would definitely recommend this book to people that enjoy fluffy reads and for people that are looking for a very romantic contemporary YA. This one is cute and has great and funny writing. I highly recommend it. Let me know what you thought of it if you have read it.
